In 2007 Multraship started a Newbuilding project at a Malaysian shipyard. Unfortunate these projects have been cancelled due to financial problems at the shipyard.
It dealt with two 33 meter tugboats with 80 ton static bollard pull.
Novatug had already delivered the Carrousel constructions including the towing winch for these projects. The Carrousels have been Class approved and designed for 300 ton SWL.
At the moment Novatug and Multraship are investigating new possibilities since Multraship has expressed their persistent interest in the Carrousel technology.
